SCOT Mid-term conference

"Carbon Dioxide Utilisation: Catalyst for a European Industrial Renaissance"

The SCOT team will present its Vision on Carbon Dioxide Utilisation and the Strategic European Research Agenda for Europe. The floor is then opened to the views of high level speakers from politics and industry. We expect plenty of discussions, and welcome you to take part in it. SCOT wants to hear the voices of all participants. Break-out sessions in smaller groups promise intense knowledge exchange and discussions on the various aspects of CDU. This is THE place to hear about the latest developments on Carbon Dioxide Utilisation and help shape the future of CDU in Europe. Your input during the conference will directly feed into SCOT advisory reports to the European Commission. These reports will cover both the future role of CDU in Europe and future support mechanisms for CDU.

SCOT is positive there are already many ideas out there that could use a good platform and funding to make them happen. At the end of the conference, we are organising a matchmaking event to allow people to find projects and partners to respond successfully to the European research calls of 2016 on Carbon Dioxide Utilisation. You will be able to hear all the information on next year’s Horizon 2020 calls including SPIRE and the forthcoming Horizon Prize on CO2 utilization and pitch your project ideas and  expertise.

For the ones who can’t get enough of CDU, nova Institute will organise the 4th Conference on Carbon Dioxide as Feedstock for Fuels, Chemistry and Polymers on the 29th and 30th of September. All of this takes place at the same location: Haus der Technik in Essen, Germany.

So don’t wait and sign up to learn about all the latest developments and views on Carbon Dioxide Utilisation and help shape the European Industrial Renaissance!

Tickets to the conference (including the matchmaking event) cost €50 and can be purchased here. Students have the opportunity of getting a free ticket on a first-come-first-serve basis. For more information, please contact info@scotproject.org.

Registration for the matchmaking event will close on the 14th of September.
