The efforts of years on carbon dioxide utilization research investigations are jeopardized by the current fossil fuel market price down-swing. In respect to a successful market implementation, it is crucial for CCU technologies to compete economically with established products. Thus, the low prices of fossil fuels are a major barrier for the development of CCU technologies, especially as investigator might hesitate to bet on a prompt breakthrough. The goal of the workshop is to describe the current status and to discuss how CCU can develop constantly and safely within those uncertain framework conditions.
More information, the agenda and a registration form will soon be available on the SCOT website.
